Feeling peckish? Can’t decide between the persistent lunchtime dilemma of choosing a Pret salad or a few sushi rolls? How does Writhing Spaghetti or a Mouldy Delight sound? Horrific, I know, but don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it!
You are gruesomely invited to join Mr & Mrs Twit for a truly ghastly dinner party in the increasingly diverse venue of the Waterloo Vaults, but note that this experience is not for nasty, nosey little children! Les Enfants Terribles, the award-winning creative masters of immersive theatre, are joined by the ever-innovative gastronomic geniuses Bompas and Parr to bring Roald Dahl's grisly characters to life in the form of the world’s worst hosts.
Across 90 minutes of interactive entertainment you’ll sample from a monstrous menu including such disgusting delicacies as pigs ears, six-legged slaw and Mr Twit’s baroque bird pie, garnished with the claws of a thousand fowl - although if you can break through the horrific outset I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
So with Halloween just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than to delve into the frightfully weird world of The Twits; and if you don’t have time for the full party why not drop by their Upside Down Cocktail Cavern to fish a glass eye out of one of their questionable cocktails? I’ll have the Sting & Tonic, please! Find out more here.
